Cellulose Nitrate (Mixed Cellulose Ester) Membrane Filters / Type 11327

The cellulose nitrate (CN) or also called mixed cellulose ester (MCE) membrane filters are composed of cellulose nitrate and a small content of cellulose acetate. They are recommended for a broad range of applications like the filtration of aqueous solutions or for sample preparation. Cellulose nitrate filters, pore size 0.2 µm can be used for the analysis of filterability of beer (membrane filter test according to Esser, in “MEBAK – Brautechnische Analysemethoden – Würze, Bier, Mischgetränke – Methodensammlung der Mitteleuropäischen Brautechnischen Analysenkommission“ 2012, Chapter 2.20.1).
