In this context, different data analytics methods process all this data for visualisation and interpretation. Very often, these workflows involved many steps of transformation without taking into account the uncertainty in the raw data; this can lead to bias in understanding the output and therefore, in decision making. For this reason, a thorough integration of probabilistic methodology within these sophisticated data analytics methods can lead to more reliable, evidence-based conclusions.
