Sartorius received the silver recognition level in the EcoVadis Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) rating system, which recognizes the top 30 percent of assessed companies. EcoVadis operates an independent platform that provides CRS ratings for global supply chains. Their methodology is based on international CSR standards, such as the International Global Reporting Initiative, the United Nations Global Compact, and the ISO 26000 Standard providing guidance on social responsibility. The analytical system covers 21 sustainability criteria for the environment, social aspects, ethics and sustainable procurement.
