Physics Laboratory Assistants

You determine the properties of materials and systems by performing experiments or measurement series. You conduct tests, document and analyze the results obtained, and process these. In addition, you perform maintenance on technical testing and processing equipment and ensure they operate correctly.

Chemistry Technicians

You prepare chemical products using organic and inorganic raw materials, carry out and monitor chemical production processes and take care of maintenance and repair of production systems. During manufacture, you take samples to check the quality of the products.

Technical Product Designers

During your vocational training, you will create drawings and diagrams, use computer-aided systems to design and engineer individual parts and sub-assemblies and perform specific, field-related calculations. In addition, you will write the respective documents associated with such parts and sub-assemblies.

Development Engineers for IT Applications

You will develop and program software and customize it to meet specific user requirements. In addition, your tasks include testing IT applications and debugging. Advising and training users will also be a part of your area of responsibilities.

Warehouse Logistics Specialists

Recognized Professions in Skilled Trade and Skilled Technical Jobs

You will set up highly complex, computer-controlled industrial systems and plant machinery, and plan and control the workflows of technical equipment and automated systems. For this purpose, you will program and test systems, commission them and perform maintenance and repair work on these.

You will assemble electronic, mechanical and electrical components and build these subassemblies into entire systems. In addition, you will install and configure operating systems and programs, test components and review equipment documents, as well as write manufacturing documents. Maintenance, repair and customer service will also be part of your area of responsibilities.

During your vocational training, you will manufacture components and assemble these to build subassemblies, apparatuses, pipework and tubing systems and entire industrial plant machinery. You will frequently manufacture the individual workpieces according to customized specifications. Moreover, you will perform maintenance on such industrial machinery, install extensions or convert the equipment.

Using technical drawings, you will make, machine and maintain tools and devices for industrial serial manufacture of plastic parts. In addition to using traditional processing methods, you will use CNC-controlled machine tools that you yourself have even programmed in part.

During your vocational training, you will build complex systems and plant facilities from mechanical, electrical and electronic components. You will commission the finished systems, program them and install the associated software. In your work, you will use primarily circuit diagrams and design drawings as guidance.

In this vocational profession, you will manufacture precision components from metal for technical products of all kinds. You will set up lathes, milling, grinding and polishing machines by modifying machine programs. In addition, you will be responsible for quality control of the workpieces and perform machine maintenance and inspection tasks.

In this vocational profession, you will plan the manufacture of plastic products and select the suitable processes and materials. You will tool the respective machines and systems and oversee the entire production workflow, as well as monitor the quality of the products.

In this profession, you will set up machinery or plant production systems, equip and operate them. In addition, you will prepare workflows, check machine functions and monitor the production process. You will also be responsible for inspecting and performing maintenance on machinery.
