Key Account Manager

We are looking for an experienced Key Account Manager to join our Bioprocessing Products and Services team. You will be responsible for driving growth along with building and maintaining effective relationships with a number of large accounts across Ireland. This role is based from home with regular national and occasional international travel.

Your role will be to support our Bioprocessing Products and Services sales team in managing a number of large accounts across Ireland.  Your strength will be in relationship building, with good understanding of the industry and, ideally, a range of products we sell (filtration, single-use technology, purification techniques, cell culture, media and buffers).

You will be based from home, with regular national and occasional international travel.

What you will accomplish together with us:

  • Managing relationships with a range of existing accounts, upselling and increasing revenue

  • Identifying new business opportunities and passion on leads to colleagues

  • Actively driving newly launched innovative products and services into the marketplace

  • Proactively follow up on the successful implementation of sales activity at key accounts

  • Supporting customer requirements and liaising with colleagues internally on fulfilling requests

  • Regularly visit critical decision makers and influencers at the accounts in order to build sustainable business relationships

  • Periodically report on the progress of the business to the management and internal stakeholders

What will convince us:

  • A degree in a Life Sciences | Bioengineering or equivalent

  • Previous sales experience and proven track record within the biopharmaceutical or life science industry

  • Knowledge of fermentation, filtration and purification technologies is advantageous

  • Strong relationship building and presentation skills

  • Proactive and goal oriented

  • Solid business acumen

  • Capable of working with stakeholders internationally

  • Ability to travel min 50% working time
