Internal Communications Professional

The Internal Communications Professional will be responsible for planning, editing and writing content for a variety of internal communication channels for communicating with employees and managers. The task of this position is to ensure the alignment of internal and external messages and communications. The Internal Communications Professional supports the improvement and development of a range of communication channels, including the implementation.

The Internal Communications Professional will be responsible for planning, editing and writing content for a variety of internal communication channels for communicating with employees and managers. Main Responsibilities & Tasks:

  • Concept and produce content for all channels of employee and management communication (including articles, memos, e-mails, videos)
  • Ensure organisational initiatives and projects are successfully communicated to employees and other stakeholders
  • Develop and implement new communication formats and channels with a focus on digital media (e.g. podcast) and Face to Face
  • Conceptually collaborate in the strategic further development of group-wide internal communication
  • Collaborate in the further development of Sartorius Daily
  • Execute communication management in larger internal projects
  • Communicative consulting for internal customers
  • Ensure internal communications messages are consistent across all mediums and with external communication messages
  • Respond to feedback from staff/management and adjust communications content accordingly
  • Handle the internal communication response to crisis situations which affect organisational perception and reputation

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Marketing, Communication, Public Relations or related field
  • Several years of professional experience in the communications sector of a company or agency
  • Extensive experience in the field of digital media
  • Ability to write in journalism with excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Experience in project management
  • Excellent time management and ability to prioritise and to deliver under pressure
  • Experience in uploading content to intranets and use of CMS ·
  • Independent, structured and proactive working methods
  • Proven ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
  • Fluent in spoken and written German and English
  • Very good MS Office skills
