Our top priority is to protect both your health and that of our employees. This is why we conduct many job interviews by video or telephone conferencing. In-person interviews are possible at some of our sites where it is possible to observe physical distancing and hygiene rules. You will receive this respective information about your interview during the application process.
For a video interview, you will need a computer or a laptop equipped with a webcam or, optionally, a smartphone or a tablet. For better sound quality, please use a headset with a microphone – but if need be, you can also do it without it. The tools used for conducting video interviews will differ depending on the division and the site you are applying for. You will receive the corresponding information in advance.
A little advice: To be best prepared, check beforehand whether your equipment setup will work correctly (strong Internet connection, webcam, sound, etc.). Find a quiet place for your interview and make sure that the location you choose is well lit.
Our onboarding procedure will depend on the particular region where you will be working so we will inform you in due time.

Yes. You can create a profile on our job portal and apply simultaneously for several positions that you are interested in. Data protection legislation requires that each job application be handled independently.
In Germany, we accept unsolicited applications. Please change your language settings in order to visit our German website for more information.
In other regions, please review our latest vacancies directly online. If you do not find a position, you also have the option of setting up a job alert. You will then be informed about any new job openings that match your profile.
The position is advertised as requiring professional experience, but I am still studying or have not yet completed my vocational training. Can I still apply?

The advertisement of the job offer is in English. Do I have to apply in English or can I do so in my native language?
If the job advertisement is in English, we recommend that you apply in English. However, all applications will be assessed on suitability for the position in question.
Most typically, the selection process will entail initial screening (phone or video interview), followed by an in-person interview. Specific details will be provided for each position.
Please note that the selection procedure strongly depends on the particular position and location offered.
We would like to get to know you and understand your competencies during the interview. Of course, you will be given the opportunity to ask questions and to explore whether Sartorius fits your career aspirations.
If you have been asked to prepare a sample of your work, this will usually involve a task representative of the position applied for. It will enable you to showcase your suitability.
Usually a representative of our Human Resources team and/or the hiring manager will participate.
In this scenario, you will be notified early in the process, if our expectation is for the interview to be conducted in English.
You will be requested to attend an assessment center if you are applying for a Sartorius scholarship or admission to one of our vocational training programs. In addition, we may also use assessment centers for other roles on occasion. In this case, we will notify you in advance of the specific details.

Yes. The information previously provided and any uploaded attachments are saved in your candidate profile. Here you can view and update your records at any time. If you have made any changes, these will be automatically transferred to your next application.
You can manage your applications in the section entitled "My Applications". To withdraw an application, select it and click on “Delete”. Please also inform your contact at our Human Resources Department if communication has already started.
We will contact you when feedback has been received from the hiring manager. If you have not received any feedback, your application is still being assessed. Your patience is appreciated during this time.
We to upload your documents in PDF format. The file size of each individual attachment should not exceed 15 MB.
Use the function "Forgot password" to have a new password sent to you by email. To do this, please enter your registered email address when logging in, and click on the corresponding box.
Your data will be retained until you delete your profile. If you have not logged into our system for more than 6 months, your data will automatically be deleted. However, you will be notified by email before this happens so that you can prevent deletion of your account if you would like to do so.
