Sartorius AG and Wave Biotech AG, Switzerland, agreed on forming a strategic alliance to jointly develop the market for Disposable Bioreactors
Göttingen, May 15, 2006 - Besides the existing product range Sartorius and Wave will jointly develop new generations of Disposable Bioreactors incorporating novel technologies of Sartorius such as Disposable Sensor Technologies, Sterile Connectors, Mixing Technologies and Control Technologies.
"This alliance between Wave Biotech AG, Switzerland, and Sartorius brings us into a leading position on the fast growing Disposable Bioreactor Market and offers the customers the widest range of products, solutions and technologies" stated Reinhard Vogt, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing of Sartorius Biotechnology Division.
On Achema 2006, the global largest exhibition for the Process Industries, from 15th - 19th of May in Frankfurt, Sartorius and Wave Biotech AG, Switzerland, will already show the joint range of Disposable Bioreactors.
